GOLD AWARDS
I am a member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and the British Professional Photogaraphers Association. Every month they have a competition where you can can upload your best photos with a choice of 30 categories. They are graded as Gold, silver and bronze. Gold awards are given to images of the highest standard and are published in the quaterly magazine.
So far I have won two gold awards, one for wedding photojournalism in April 2009

and the second in Febraruy 2010 in Sport general with the surfer photo taken at Santa Monica beach (page background image.)

I have entered two photos into a competition being held by the National Portrait Gallery, winners announced at the end of August 2010.
I have also won 5 silvers from the SWPP and 6 silvers from the Guild of Wedding Photographers.
I came second in another competition with my photo of 3 New York taxis.
No doubt I will win more so watch this space for more info.
